Jackie "Jack" L. Taylor, age 60, died Saturday evening, June 19, 2010, in a Florence hospital. Graveside funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, June 22, in Florence National Cemetery directed by Belk Funeral Home.
Mr. Taylor was born in Latta, SC son of the late Edwin Woodrow and Maude Laura McCormick Taylor. He served his country with the United States Marines in Vietnam. Jack was employed with Piggly Wiggly as a meat cutter.
Surviving are his wife, Elaine Munn Taylor; son, Jathan "Jay" Taylor; daughters: Kimberly Nicole Taylor and Jessica Michelle Boseman, all of Darlington; brothers: "Skeetz" Willard (Pat) Taylor of Latta, Edwin (Linda) Taylor of Hartsville and Jerry (Ethel) Taylor of Dillon; sister, Ann Wozniak of Jacksonville, FL and his aunt, Leona Proctor of Marion.
The family will receive friends Monday 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
